福 stands for good fortune in Chinese and Japanese. This calligraphy was based on the ancient seal script form of the character 福, wrotten in a semi-cursive hand. Original work was created with traditional ink on calligraphy paper, and then digitally added to a colour background.
Born in 1975 in Europe. Resides in Japan since 2001. Japan-based multi-genre artist. Japanese calligrapher, photographer, body art calligrapher, and photoshop artist.
